I figured I might as well make the official topic to show it's alive.
First, a little history lesson:
Luigi's Game's actually been in development in some form or another for the past 4 years. When I first found MFGG in 2002, I decided to make "The Luigi Game!" as a test to see what I could do with all the graphics. It was complete **** and the plot/setting just changed to whatever I felt like. It lost all its Mario qualities pretty early on.
In 2004, after I got this computer, I decided to restart the project and try one of these new-fangled static engines. The engine also ended up being complete ****. I abandoned the project, but kept working on the plot. I'd randomly space out in school and start thinking about how to fix plotholes and new characters to add and stuff.
2005, with RII, I tried restarting the engine. That didn't go anywhere fast, but I wouldn't let the plot die.
A month ago, the plot was ironed out to the best I can possibly get it, and I decided I would try working on an engine again. I posted an engine test earlier, but now I actually have something presentable. It's mostly just shooting the living daylights out of goombas.
Right click/save asAll the files you need should be included.

Shift against wall - Wallkick
Ctrl - Fire

2 - Cycle forward through weapons
In this test, I have the Assault Rifle and Pistol working. I think the pistol's a bit too
powerful, so I'll scale that back.
