DS Wifi on normal PC wifi support?

When it gets repaired, is there a way to use the Wifi to connect my DS online? What's odd about this is, the DS can still talk to the network card. If you try a connection test, it says "This connection is incompatible with the Nintendo WiFi Connection" or something to that effect. If it can find it, it should be able to use it. --------------------
