The most important thing in my opinion is that it's useable in a game.

That sprite might be limited to RPG's and his own style, but IT IS useable in a game. It could be considered as pixel art (since it's done in an uncommon style), but it can definitely be used as a sprite aswell.

I guess we might need more rules regarding competitions to clear things up.

Heres an example of the RPG thing.

I could put this
edit because jak is being *****y: OR ANY DRAWING OR PIXEL ART.
into an any RPG battle scene.

But does that make it a sprite? no. Sprites should be like the walking animation and stuff on the RPG not the battle art... However the Isometric SMRPG battle sequences are sprite as they fit the same style as the walking overworld type deal.

Just my opinion.

hay guyz i made a sprite!

it's totally a sprite, it's just for a fighting game with a 1280x1024 display and one animation frame per character!

(not my drawing, obviously, but you see my point)

I made mine in paint.. :-( Mine got no votes so far....
Are we alowed to vote for our own sprites? :-)

Please just finish this so I can have some kind of inspiration to sprite again.

We really need to settle this, so we can get to votin'... ya'll.
