Ending the feud between my computer and GameMaker

Admins Can Do That!™ Group: Admins Posts: 30098 Member No.: 9 Joined: 13-October 03 Status: (0d)	I'm one of the many people whose computer doesn't want to run GameMaker games for some mysterious reason. The loading screen will finish, and what happens is that I'll either get an error message and the game won't load or my screen resolution will change and the game won't load or the game just won't load and nothing else happens. There has to be some way to remedy this. There are GameMaker games that look really, really good, and I'd love to be able to play them. --------------------

What are some of the error messages you get?

Yeah. You need the newest version of DirectX to run Gamemaker games I'm pretty sure.

I downloaded the DirextX update and it still didn't work.

It helped before with Quicky, I think.

It was already set at 16. I changed to 32, and it still didn't work.
