I'm one of the many people whose computer doesn't want to run GameMaker games for some mysterious reason. The loading screen will finish, and what happens is that I'll either get an error message and the game won't load or my screen resolution will change and the game won't load or the game just won't load and nothing else happens.

There has to be some way to remedy this. There are GameMaker games that look really, really good, and I'd love to be able to play them. nod.gif

Install GameMaker in case any dlls are missing?

Or maybe you need to update DirectX?

Sorry if that's not very helpful but I know no other way to fix it.

Yeah. You need the newest version of DirectX to run Gamemaker games I'm pretty sure.

Get a new computer. :P

Well, I'm not sure what files exactly you need to run GM, but I could check on their forums...

Maybe XP's have some problems that 64's don't

but probably not

Try setting the color quality to 16 or 32 bits in case it's 24.

It helped before with Quicky, I think.
