Description: "Another nostalgic FZ title, based on the classic fangame. This is Super Mario in classic, arcade "Donkey Kong" style single screen courses. Can you collect all the stars to save Princess Peach before the timer runs out? For one or two players." File: http://www.fzgames.com/games.php#alpha100I'd prefer if it linked to that exact URL, the games page using the anchor to jump straight to the game, but if the link has to point straight to the exe or you upload your own copy or whatever then I don't mind. Make sure the "100 Magic Stars" part is included in the name, it's important so that people don't confuse it with the original game.

Yes I do. they were really influential in the evolution of modern Super Mario fangames, HOWEVER games like these are nowadays looked down upon, since people's tastes have evolved to a larger scale.
However you can cover it up by fixing this thing up a bit (like you did, I'll have to try this again later).
And for the record, I said what I said about default platform movement because it's really frustrating with stop-dead and sticking in ceilings. The desert level is FRUSTRATING because of it. So I don't care if it plays like SMB3, SMB1, or whatever, just make sure that you know of the frustrating flaws of the built-in platform movement.
EDIT: Okay, this is much better. Stop dead still makes me want to scream in pain in the desert level (I jump, hit a wall, and can't move... now I fell into a convenient pit. *cries*)
