This is the Finished Project!
---
Ok, Time to lay some ground rules...
1. Do not be afraid to leave your box, It's OK to do so, just think about others when you do that.
2. Quality Control is in effect, no offense to those that it happens too, but your work might be improved, or in an extreme case removed entirely.
3. Call a space, Up to 3 at a time, and do not go ahead and make something without anouncing it, well you could just make sure it's still free before you post it. BUT FIRST CLAIM!
4. Have fun with it, make little scenes, make luscious landscapes, make a gundam! basically what i'm saying is have fun!
5. Try and make it so that others can work off of your art, If you wish to add something to your own later, so it blends a bit, feel free, but let me know.
6. Edit the whole structure, not just the chunk of tile, It'll give you more freedom on the editing, and I don't have to Peice it in.
(image taken from Pixelopolis)

just a small note
BREAK THE GRID!

I made a slightly more SM3-happy grid in case people are limiting their palette

I still really think you should use a 256-color palette.

Seriously, I've used a 64-color palette and it isn't limiting at all.

If the image is darkened over time, just open it up and apply the initial palette...

Green is taken, Red/Yellow is free.

Edit: I'll just keep this post updated rather than posting everytime someone takes something.

I was actually going to suggest having a Vitalize (or something) embed that could handle the "claiming" process (with a list of who claimed each tile and tile number overlay) and display the block... thing... in realtime, possibly with an option to upload finished images to be placed on the blocks.

Of course embeds don't work but still that would probably be more efficient

Here are about 90% of the colors used in the first post's given images.

Less than 256 by my count...

EDIT: God damn it why didn't Silverbolt put any sort of grouping into that palette?

The palette I got from it is this:

Edit: I only got the palette from the second image though.
