Well, the way I see it, you can draw as many blocks as you want right now, but you can't claim them until a finished, numbered map has officially been set up for claiming. And then, if you don't claim the spaces that you sprited for, THEN it's tough luck.
But we can't start claiming spaces that don't exist yet. That's just unfair.
Basically, if you sprite any tiles before you claim them, then the most that will do is make it so you can start working on your next set of tiles a lot quicker. Which, I guess, is fine, if that's what you're after. Just don't be dissapointed if all the spots that your tiles would work on are claimed before you can get to them.

Nice! Extreme! Super Nintendo Mario 3! but there's one thing, I don't rememeber "The Mountains" (upper left corner). But still soverynice. Sooner or later, someone is going to envy you.
