Sprite Competition?, Not what you expect...

No no no. The Member Group gets rid of the upload field because I can't post in any forums that have it enabled.

My browser cannot use upload fields. I've tried IE and FireFox. Neither can upload.

I am not sure why. I spent half a day virus scanning and nothing came up.

Delete everything installed after your suspension. :P

Mine, With two variations. The large trees do not need to be used.

No offense but that doesn't look very good... it needs quite a bit of work. It also needs to, you know, look haunted. :P

That's a good entry but it doesn't look very Mario-like. Well here is my entry. In the unlikely event that I win, I may not be here during the start of the next, then I wish for the next comp to feature M&L:SS Beanish people.

Cloud is shaped funny. People like rounder clouds.

I added fog, Ghosts, and a Pipe complete w/Spiderweb

We were talking to Avion.

The pipe with a spider on it is a nice touch but the rest still needs some work.

Ok. I added the Bat, and the Spiderwebs for the trees!

Ok, I shall be more specific on what needs work:
1. The trees need quite a bit of work. They are way too round and don't really look much like trees. The green outline is way too bright and upsets the dark mood you're trying to add to the background. Use a dark shade for the outline possibly even black so that the tree somewhat blends in with the darkness.
2. The moon is too bright. I think it'd be better off with a light blueish white.
3. The background itself could use things like tombstones, skulls, etc. Try to make it feel creepy. You could even add a lake of slime and red eyes blinking in the darkness.
4. The clouds use pillow shading... in the type of background you're trying to make, puffy clouds don't help much with the mood. The fog is okay but the clouds need to be dark and less ovalish. Try doing some clouds like you'd see before a storm. Make them sort of threatening.

How much longer do we have for this competition?
