I'm so glad to see that the physics and attacks are very similar to Melee.. and kind of disappointed at the same time..

It only started development on October 2005, they've had, what, less than a year to make all this? It's definitely gonna be more then just SSBM with more characters... How many new characters will there be I wonder...

My hunch is over 50.

SSBM had over twice as much characters than the N64 version.

I'm more dissapointed about that. IMO, it'll be a fantastic game (Better than the last too most definantly) and all, but it seems the engine, animations, physics etc are the EXACT SAME from Melee but with better textures. I hope they redo the animations to make them look more realistic.

The only character in the trailer that didn't grab my attention (new character I mean) was Pit. Probably becuase I'm not a fan, but his entrance in the trailer wasn't awesome at all. Meanwhile, you've got Metaknight flying in being all badass, Snake popping out of his box after a codec thing, Wario arriving on his bike and unleashing a nuclear fart, and Samus... well, that whole thing was pretty neat.

I can't wait to see the rest of the characters. I really hope Sonic makes it in this time. I'm not sure who all else I want to be included, but there's way too many

Not necessarily--third party characters are still up in the air, but if you REALLY want to see Sonic in, check out the other SSBB topic--you can find out how to submit your suggestions of third party characters to the creators through the official website.

its nice that they are bringing in new characters, but as much as I like some of they don't seem to fit. I had a problem with solid snake, likewise with sonic.
