Impressionable teenagers should also be shot on sight, but I don't suppose we're going to do that. It's impractical.

Which is also why it is impractical to force movies to no longer provide a staple and trademark of the series simply because people are too ****ing stupid to handle it properly.

That's actually the exact reason why stuff like this comes to pass. It's a lot easier for Congress to establish regulation on the content of movies than it is for them to enforce a law that shoots "impressionable teenagers" which would be hard to detect in the first place. Of course, I know you were making a gross exaggeration.

Although a good test would be to show them Napoleon Dynamite and shoot the ones who start imitating Napoleon's mannerisms. Plus I just think it would be great to have an annual showing of Napoleon Dynamite funded by the government. It would give tax payers something else to complain about.

Perhaps in another 20 years, we'll hear about how Sienfeld contains casual sex talk, religious conflict, tobacco use, law breaking and references to being "master of your domain", and thus should have been banned from the airwaves because parents are too careless to set the V-chip or care what their kids watch.
